WHO IS YOUR DADDY? On Wednesday, July 20, from 6 to 8 p.m., the El Dorado Hills Genealogical Society will meet at the El Dorado Hills Library, 7455 Silva Valley Parkway, El Dorado Hills. Shirley Riemer from the Sacramento German Genealogical Society will conduct a presentation titled ?Getting Started in German Genealogy.? She will also share an overview of German church and civil records. Visitors are always welcome.

ROTARY AWARD WINNERS: The Rotary Club of Cameron Park walked away with impressive awards at the recent district conference in Reno, Nev. A ?Rotary International Significant Achievement Award? was given for the club?s planning, building, and successful completion of the G. Arthur Cort Sky Theater. Also, Anne Eckert, president of the Rotary Club of Cameron Park, accepted a ?Presidential Citation with Distinction? for the club being one of five Rotary Clubs out of the 54 clubs in the district to receive the Presidential Citation with Distinction. Club and district webmaster, Mike Neal, was presented with the prestigious ?Paul Harris Fellowship? for his longtime dedication to and support of the Rotary district. Congratulations to everyone who contributed to the granting of these significant awards!

I saw the movie, and it was excellent.
