Purchase with hashtags on Twitter with American Express

We all do online shopping, and to be frank, we buy most of our stuff online, may it be electronics, software products, home entertainment, and to some extent, even food, clothes, and jewellery. And since ecommerce has grown so much in the recent years, there are many internet companies which are offering ecommerce for their products. There are many ways by which we can buy these goods. And soon enough, we will be able to buy such goods just by sending a tweet on Twitter. Yes, you do not tweet that you have bought a product just now, but you tweet ?to buy? a product. Twitter has just partnered with American Express, and this new way of buying comes because of this partnership. You will soon be able to link your American Express credit card to Twitter and then buy stuff online. The key here is hashtags. You will have to use hashtags in your tweets to make the purchase. But the format of the tweet of the hashtags supported are not yet disclosed. Twitter, in fact, has not yet commented on this. But American Express already has a press release: ?American Express Cardmembers who sync their eligible Cards at sync.americanexpress.com/twitter and tweet special #hashtags can buy American Express Gift Cards and products from Amazon, Sony, Urban Zen and Xbox 360. American Express? proprietary Card Sync technology powers the experience. Card Sync first launched on Twitter last March to deliver couponless savings to Cardmembers who tweet special offer #hashtags from merchants.? ?Items up for sale through Twitter include American Express gift cards, Amazon Kindle Fire tablets, and Donna Karan jewelry, according to the Journal,? says Giga Om. Almost all of Twitter?s revenue came from marketing and advertising till now. This deal between the companies could show what Twitter has in store for itself, and for its users. Also, the partnership will let Twitter on the ecommerce path.
