According to the official release notes, the new Lync build comes with buttons to provide faster access to Back, Search, Mute and End Call features, but also with enhanced ink capabilities in IM conversations.
What?s more, the update brings additional language support, plus the aforementioned bug fixes and performance improvements.
The new Lync version is available to users running any of the available Windows 8 builds, including x86, x64 and ARM flavors, so Surface RT owners can deploy it too. As usual, the update is being distributed via the integrated Windows Store, so you don?t need to manually download the new version.
