Drogba says he?s lucky to be alive, playing football after last month?s head injury

From ANI

London, Sep 24(ANI): Chelsea striker Didier Drogba insists that he is lucky to have survived the horrific collision, which knocked him out for nearly eight minutes, during the Premier League clash against Norwich City last month.

Drogba had collided with Norwich keeper John Ruddy at Stamford Bridge and was left unconscious and motionless on the pitch.

He was later carried off the field and taken to a nearby hospital.

?When I see those images again it?s scary. I was lucky, definitely. Playing football is important for me, but being alive and being with my kids and having my family happy that I?m still here is the most important thing,? Drogba told the Sun.

?The most important thing is I?m alive,? he added.
